I am a lifelong resident of the City of Binghamton, and 33 year resident of District 14. As an active member of the Democratic Party, I have witnessed the many changes in the District and the County.
My career path has been one of service, over 23 years with Lourdes Hospice and now in my 12th year at the Southern Tier AIDS Program. My work in the nonprofit sector with underserved populations, allows me to bring unique skills and insight to making Broome County a welcoming home for all.
I’m a graduate of Binghamton High School and Broome Community College. I'm blessed with a beautiful family: my husband Jerry, daughter Sarah, son Michael, daughter-in-law Alyssa and my beautiful granddaughter Madison.
In November 2015 I was appointed to be the county legislator for district 14. I was elected in 2016. I am a current member of the Economic Development, Education & Culture Committee, Health & Human Services Committee and the Personnel Committee.
